Custom Command --> Send Internet Path via Email

Aug 26, 2013 at 12:00 PM
Hi everybody,

does "Path Copy Copy" provide a possibility to directly send a files' Internet Path via Email from Windows Explorer context menu?

Maybe anyone knows a suitable workaround?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Path Copy Copy does provide a command to copy a file's path as Internet Path. However, it does not offer a way to send a link via e-mail. A custom command cannot support this either, not with the provided options... You would need to implement one as a COM object.

Sorry but my inquiry seems to be a little misleading.

I didn't mean "Path Copy Copy" to send an email directly. Rather, I meant that the copied Internet path should be automatically redirected to e.g. Microsoft Outlook.

I understand. However, it's the same thing; only a command implemented as a COM object could achieve this.
